Wild East: Warren School
Wild East wants our region to become one of the world’s biggest and best nature reserves, enriching our lives, and restoring our wild hearts. Inspiring the next generation is central to the Wild East mission. Testament to this is their collaboration with the Papillon Project - a charity promoting sustainable living and environmental awareness to young people across Norfolk. Schools who have pledged include Lowestoft’s Warren School, where children with learning difficulties enjoy pond dipping, apple bobbing, and habitat creation at the onsite wild plot. Inspiring the younger generation is one of the great ways we can get people interested in tackling climate change, as with growing connections with nature comes a desire to restore and preserve it.
